Who am I?

When you’ve found ‘the one’, you become my only one for the day so I can dedicate the day to making your ceremony a blast. Whatever you want, I’ve got you. On your special day I’m yours and yours only.

I don’t take a churn and burn approach with pre-set templates that can be tweaked slightly to personalise. I take a holistic approach to weddings beyond just the words on a page and the vows you read. How can we make the ceremony ‘you’? Want your nanna involved? Your dog? Want to walk down the aisle together? Say your vows in private away from the ceremony? I have ideas for all of this (and more) to help make this the day you want it to be.

My offering

Melbourne has a lot of marriage celebrants. You’ve probably read a lot of websites.

To make life easier, I’ll be short and sweet and why you may want to end the search and why I could be a great celebrant for you.

  1. I work in law and as a result am a stickler for regulations and forms. Your paperwork will be spotless and all legalities of your wedding day perfect.
  2. However, the paperwork is the least exciting part of the day! Bring on the ceremony! I am a storyteller at heart and in an earlier life wrote stories for some of Australia’s top media and if you were watching closely you may have spotted me in the occasional news broadcast. I love to tell stories in a heartfelt (and funny – laughs are crucial to any good wedding) that reflects you and your unique story.
  3. Organisation is my middle name (my mother would beg to differ). I can work with you to the extent you need me to manage your ceremony. Liaise with photographer to make sure we’re getting cracker shots? Tick? Run a fun rehearsal (lollies included) prior to the ceremony so everyone knows what they’re doing and can enjoy the day? Of course.
  4. Finally, I genuinely do love weddings and it is an incredibly special feeling to be part of people’s special day. I don’t take it for granted and would be beyond touched if you wanted to include me.
